Worendo Cottages are an ideal destination for families seeking an authentic farm stay experience.

Guests can enjoy feeding and patting the resident farm animals, wildlife spotting, hiking, kayaking, fishing and swimming.

With over 70 resident animals, guests can truly immerse themselves in daily farm life. Activities include farm tours, hand feeding and collecting eggs. There is plenty of open spaces for children to roam, plus a playground.

There are four cottage accommodation options.

Milford Country Cottages

Milford Country Cottages boasts 40 acres of farming land in the beautiful Scenic Rim.

Guests can explore the grounds, enjoy an evening campfire and feed the cows, chickens and horse. There are also numerous local attractions within easy driving distance.

Guests can stay in one of two self-contained cottages, Bottletree Cottage and Rose Cottage. Both cottages are self-contained, air-conditioned and suitable for a family of two adults and two children (Rose Cottage is also disability friendly!)

Darlington Grove Farm Stay

Darlington Grove Farm Stay offers 100 acres of rolling green pastures, direct river access and a selection of friendly farm animals.
 
Guests can enjoy farm tasks such as feeding the resident sheep, pigs, chickens and ducks, collecting freshly laid chicken eggs and feeding snacks to the horses. Other activities include exploring the grounds, swimming in the creek and enjoying nightly campfires.
 
There’s even a “find the flags” challenge to encourage guests to explore their surroundings.
 
Accommodation is a converted dairy shed with self-contained open air living, enclosed bedroom and detached toilet block. The bedroom sleeps 4 people with a queen size bed and two single trundle beds.

Bestbrook is a family-owned and operated property, offering free farm activities. These include feeding the resident animals, milking cows, making billy tea and damper, whip cracking and boomerang throwing. In addition, guests may enjoy freshwater creek swimming, hiking through the surrounding bushland or simply relaxing by the onsite swimming pool. Horse riding is available for an additional fee.

There are 4 camping sites (powered and unpowered options), farm stay cabins and a village bunkhouse (backpacker style rooms – basic accommodation with shared facilities..
