Farm Tours Brisbane and Surrounds

Farm tours provide authentic and hands-on learning experiences for all members of the family. The following farm tours are all located within 90 minutes drive from Logan City, south of Brisbane.

Please note that many of these venues have been required to modify procedures and restrictions in accordance to COVID-19 regulations.


Haigslea EWE Nique Hobby Farm

(187 Missigs Road, Haigslea Q 4306)

Haigslea EWE Nique Hobby Farm welcomes the public to meet and help feed their alpacas, sheep, goats, chickens and geese.

There is also an onsite coffee shed selling a range of hot and cold drinks, along with a selection of snacks.

Admission is $5 per person, feed buckets $3 each or 4 for $10. Plus, all children will receive a seedling to take home to plant and watch it grow.

Haigslea EWE Nique Hobby Farm

Naughty Little Kids

(1531 Ipswich Boonah Rd, Peak Crossing, Q 4306)

Naughty Little Kids is a goat dairy farm with approximately seventy adult goats and forty kids. Take a tour to pat and feed the goats, milk a goat by hand, discover how to make cheese at home and sample the farm’s gelati and cheese.

Four families may visit per tour, bookings required. Family passes are $37.50 (2 adults, up to 6 children), children under 12 months are free of charge.

School holiday tours: Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, sessions begin 1:05pm, 2:15pm and 3:25pm daily.

Naughty Little Kids

White Ridge Farm

Visitors to White Ridge Farm can hand feed farm animals, enter an interactive animal enclosure, enjoy a hay ride or simply relax with a picnic. There’s even a playground and mini putt-putt course!

Entry cost includes one cup of animal feed and hay ride. $12.00 children 3-14 years, $14.50 concessions/pensioners/students, $19.50 adults or $59.00 family pass (2 adults and 2 children). Children under 3 years free of charge.

Children can also enjoy pony rides for an additional $8.00 each (10am-2pm daily).

Mountview Alpaca Farm

Visit Mountview Alpaca Farm, located within O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards, to interact with the friendly alpacas. These loveable creatures and beautiful grounds provide opportunities for some great keepsake photos.

Guests are permitted to feed the animals during opening hours, bags of feed can be purchased from the gift shop for $3.00 each. For an additional cost, take an alpaca for a walk or even a picnic! Alpaca packages vary, see website for details. Bookings required.

Summer Land Camels

Summer Land Camels is Australia’s largest commercial Camel Dairy, with over 550 camels grazing in their pastures. Interact with gentle camels and enjoy a behind the scenes tour through the wild camel training centre, dairy operation, cheese, gelato and skincare production facilities.

Tours are $15.00 per child 4-12 years, $25.00 per adult or $60.00 family pass (2 adults, 2 children). Children under 3 years free of charge.

Deathrow Unchained Animal Rescue

Bring the family to Deathrow Unchained Animal Rescue for some farm fun and fresh air. Tour the facilities and interact with various rescued animals.

Bookings essential: $20 per adult and $10 per child 1-16 years. Infants under 12 months of age free of charge.

Scenic Rim Robotic Dairy

This working dairy farm is responsible for producing the Scenic Rim 4Real Milk products.

Tours of 60-90 minutes duration are available by appointment. Visitors will learn about the development of dairy farming and the different stages of the current milking process. Of particular interest, is the high tech LELY Robotic milking system.
