Rainy Day Play, Logan City

Beat cabin fever by visiting a local indoor play venue! The recommendations below are all within Logan City, eliminating the need for lengthy travel on the wet roads!

Croc’s Playcentre

(39/45 Compton Road, Underwood)

Croc’s are offering $5 entry Monday to Friday throughout May! Children of all ages can enjoy a large multi-tiered playground with air canons, soft play obstacles, climbing apparatus and the locally beloved wavy slides.

A fenced play area for children under 4 years of age offers a castle-themed playground with ball pit and slide, soft play equipment and inflatable rocking boat.

There’s also train and pirate ship rides, although these were not operational during our last visit.

While the children are playing, supervising adults can enjoy a barista made coffee from the onsite Muffin Break.

Rainbow City Children’s Playcentre and Cafe

(5-15 Lapis Street, Underwood)

If you have toddlers or younger children, Rainbow City is the place to be! This venue is specifically designed for children under 8 years of age and offers impeccably clean facilities and friendly customer service.

A fenced play area with mock roads, ride-on vehicles, petrol station and small playground is ideal for children up to 5 years old. A second fenced space provides soft play equipment for babies.

Children of all ages can enjoy a shop-themed jumping castle and larger playground with two open slides, a netted ball pit, climbing structure and an enclosed spiral slide.

The dining area provides clear sight lines of the playgrounds, allowing parents to actually sit and enjoy a coffee!

Rainbow City Play Barn

(Unit 1, 7-11 Central Court, Hillcrest)

Rainbow City Play Barn is also designed (but not limited to) children under 8 years of age. Children can explore a large modular play structure with soft play equipment, ball pit, rope bridge and two tall adjoining slides.

Younger children can also access a small jumping castle and fenced play area with playground, soft play equipment and ride on cars.

An onsite cafe sells air fried snacks, including gluten-free options. Again, the open plan layout of the venue affords parents the opportunity to relax with clear visibility of children.

Inflatable World Beenleigh

(5 Thorsborne Street, Beenleigh)

Weekends are made for bouncing! Children can enjoy a range of inflatable obstacles, jumping castles, slides and challenges.

A separate area for toddlers provides similar experiences but with much smaller equipment.

Book a two hour session today!

Digi Roller Skating Rink

(40-44 Johnson Road, Hillcrest)

When was the last time you skated (or tried to?) Digi Roller Skating have various sessions this weekend, including learn to skate and family time slots!

Indoor Swimming Pools

My children love visiting Logan West Aquatic Centre or Gould Adams Park Pool.

Enjoy the heated shallow water – but make sure to bring warn clothes for the walk outside to the car!

Daisy Hill Koala Centre

(253 Daisy Hill Road, Daisy Hill)

Daisy Hill Koala Centre is a purpose-built educational facility located within the Daisy Hill Conservation Park.
Its exterior features a sheltered boardwalk style pathway leading into a large koala enclosure.

Within the Centre, visitors can learn about Australian native wildlife through a series of informational boards, videos, wall posters and displays.
