JC Slaughter Falls Picnic Area (Brisbane) is great for nature enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. For our family, the highlight of this venue is exploring sections of the East Ithaca Creek. This catchment travels throughout the picnic area, providing opportunities for multiple groups of visitors to enjoy. At this particular time, the creek is mostly dry. However, after periods of heavy rain, families can usually be spotted frolicking in the shallow waters.
