Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre

The outdoor recreational area at Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre has been carefully designed with families in mind. It features a lagoon pool with aquatic play equipment, a fully fenced toddler play pool, multiple picnic tables and wide-open grassy areas.

The lagoon is suitable for family members of all ages and abilities. The shallow end of the pool is roped off to restrict the movement of younger children. It offers beach-style entry, various water spouts, sprinklers and a tipping bucket. This section is well shaded by material sails.

The deeper end of the pool can accommodate several groups of swimmers or people relaxing on small personal inflatables. Diving is only permitted in this section.

A rock-climbing wall is operational during the school holiday periods, 12-3pm daily (the rock climbing wall is positioned against the edge of the pool, so that unsuccessful climbers simply fall into the water).

The toddler pool is very shallow and incorporates a small slide. Shade sails cover a large portion of the pool.

Inside the leisure centre, a heated 25m pool provides opportunities for lessons and lap swimming.

The kiosk offers very limited food items, mainly drinks and ice blocks. If you are planning an extended swim, I would recommend bringing a packed lunch and enjoying a picnic outside.
