Scenic Rim Farm Shop & Cafe

The Scenic Rim Farm Shop & Cafe is nestled under towering Jacaranda trees, amidst the working farms of Kent's Lagoon. This venue is the epitome of country-style hospitality. The staff are welcoming, the food is nourishing and the grounds are picturesque.

Guests can dine on the wide verandah or occupy one of the many table and chair settings sprawled across the front yard. Outdoor dining is most popular, with ample trees providing shade and open grassy spaces for children to run and play.

Picnic blankets are also available for visitors wishing to adopt a more casual setting.

The menu is designed to showcase a range of locally grown or produced ingredients. Light meals and decadent desserts are prepared in-house, under the charge of Scenic Rim Regional Food Ambassador, Kate Raymont. These are accompanied by a selection of local gelato, coffee, juices and ciders. Despite an evolving menu, efforts are made to include gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options.

Please note that on busy days, some menu items sell out well before the close of business. Bookings are not essential but strongly recommended.

While waiting to order, take the time to browse through the Farm Shop. Customers will find an array of regional produce, meats, dairy products, snacks and baked goods. The shop is also a stockist for a range of locally produced health and beauty products, pantry items, alcohol and giftware.

Many patrons extend their visit by chatting in the relaxed environment or playing giant lawn games (provided by venue). The grounds are also home to the flower fields and boutique florist of Elderflower Farm. On selected weekends, the flower farm hosts "pick your own flowers" events.
