Eridani Park – Sneek Peek!

    Major upgrades to Eridani Park (Eridani Street, Kingston) are nearly completed – Logan City Councillor Teresa Lane reports an expected opening of this weekend!

    What’s New?

    Additions to the existing playground include new swings (including two nest swings with full 360 degrees of rotation), a spinning carousel and a flying fox.
    The most exciting upgrade is a great nature play area, extending along the side and across the rear of the playground.
     
    This recreational space features a wide, rocky creek bed with several water pumps! There are multiple opportunities for crossing the creek bed, including bridges, logs and rows of sandstone structures. The surrounding garden beds also boast raised agility logs, rows of stumps and nature themed equipment that makes musical sounds.

    Visiting families will appreciate the additional picnic areas and basketball, volleyball and Sepak Takraw courts.

    Future upgrades include a BMX pump track, gym equipment and car park.
