Crestmead Park
Crestmead Park
Crestmead Park offers a variety of recreational experiences, including a large playground and multiple riding/skate facilities.
Adventure Playground
The bright orange playground boasts two climbing towers with lookout structures and a large, circular enclosed slide. These can be accessed by a variety of nets and ladders. A smaller climbing structure with a slide is ideal for toddlers.
The playground also features a flying fox, swingset with toddler seats, rockers, diggers and climbing mounds.
Crestmead Park also boasts an impressive full basketball court (partially fenced) and sandy volleyball court.
Bike Riding
A dedicated learn-to-ride bike track is ideal for younger or less capable children. The network of mock roads with traffic signs and street markings provides opportunities for skill development in an authentic setting.
The locally beloved skatepark has recently been extended and has already hosted a community bike and scooter competition.
Behind the Crestmead Community Centre, more adventurous riders will find a dirt track with small jumps.
As expected, this park can become quite busy during the weekends or school holiday periods. Fortunately, there are multiple picnic gazebos with seating and open grassy areas. There are several barbeques, toilet block and two carparks.
