This large recreational parkland is situated in the heart of the Brookhaven Estate. The idyllic setting is characterized by tall gum trees, gardens, rocky creek beds and a water catchment.
The elements of the park, particularly the playground areas, have been designed to blend into the environment.
A large playground structure offers three climbing towers, interconnected by a netted suspension bridge. Two of these towers feature crow's nest cubbies, which allow children to overlook the surrounding parklands. This elevation is intended to represent life in the tree canopies. The third tower incorporates a slide.
Additional equipment includes a nest swing, swing set with toddler seat, see-saw and recessed trampoline mats.
Open grassy areas allow for structured games or free play. A half basketball court and exercise equipment provide further opportunities for physical activity.
Several gazebos and barbecues are scattered throughout the grounds, allowing for use by multiple parties. The picnic shelter behind the playground is particularly desirable, offering views of the establishing wetland.
Given its status as a neighbourhood park, there are no toilets and roadside parking only.
