Forget about swings and slides - this place is all about climbing, balancing, splashing, digging, building and more!

Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre boasts:

• large outdoor undercover area for environmental group use
• nature playground
• open grassy areas
• picnic and toilet facilities
• extensive network of hiking trails

The nature play area features large fallen logs and tree stumps of varying heights for balancing. There is also a collection of forest-inspired climbing structures. Whilst conquering these structures, children can discover up to 20 animal engravings and small statues. A soft fall surface has been laid throughout this section.

A water pump and large rocky creek bed encourages both imaginative play and physical manipulation of the environment. It is common to see groups of children collaboratively carve tunnels, create dams or simply splash in the muddy water.

Boardwalks extend throughout the nature playground, allowing easy access to different areas.
