Moora Park
Moora Park
This location features a large wooden playground overlooking the beach and the historic Shorncliffe Pier.
The multi-tier playground has been built into the contours of the landscape. It resembles a series of tree houses, many of which are connected by ramps, bridges and sets of stairs. There are also several slides, a swing set and assorted rockers.
The beach area is sheltered by a long rock wall and the Shorncliffe Pier. This section of beach is ideal for exploration during low tide. In particular, we were amazed by the multitude of shells.
The Shorncliffe Pier is an impressive structure with a length of 350 metres. There are many opportunities to enjoy the views with a sheltered rest area, seating at regular intervals and a fishing pontoon at the very end.
