Rodbourogh Park
Rodbourogh Park
Rodbourogh Park is easy to miss if you are unfamiliar with the region. It is tucked away beside a small carpark immediately before the bridge on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road.
The creek itself is a very short stroll from the car park, surrounded by thick, leafy bushland. Stunning mature trees, thick vines and rocky embankments set the scene for family adventures.
The flow of the creek is ideal for families with children of varied abilities and interests. Sections with calm and shallow water allow for rock-hopping, exploration and splashing. In sections with deeper water, more capable children can enjoy wading or simply floating around on an inflatable tube. Of course, it is always advisable to check the various depths before allowing children to enter.
A bin is provided to discourage littering, but unfortunately, there are no toilet facilities on-site.
