Gardner's Falls
Gardner's Falls
If you are seeking clear, cool and flowing waters - this waterfall in Maleny is the place!
If it's your first visit or you have younger children, it is recommended to start exploring one of the calmer sections. As the creek winds through the forest, there are intermittent shallow bodies of water, with minimal current. Once accustomed to the current, venture into the sections with rapids and smaller falls.
The most popular spot at this attraction is the main waterfall, that cascades into a deep pool of water below. Despite signage prohibiting diving, many visitors jump from the overhead rocks. More confident jumpers climb to higher ground or launch themselves from a rope swing (there are two additional rope swings slightly downstream).
The waterfall is an easy 300m walk from the carpark, alongside the water's edge.
Perhaps the biggest drawback of Gardener's Falls is the extremely limited park capacity.
