Eagleby Wetlands

The Eagleby Wetlands offer a network of trails showcasing melaleuca and brackish swamps, woodland areas and a central freshwater lake. This site is home to an abundance of local wildlife, including more than 200 native bird species.

Both the Melaleuca Boardwalk (150m) and Bird Hide Walk (230m) are wheelchair-friendly. The trails for the Marsh Bird Walk (500m) and Riverwalk (1km) are dirt and gravel with uneven terrain. Interpretive signs are positioned along most of these trails, providing information about habitat diversity, local species and recent rehabilitation projects.

Toilets, playground, picnic shelter and exercise equipment are located within the adjacent Oliver's Sports Complex.

The trails through the Eagleby Wetlands form part of the wider Eagleby Beenleigh Adventure Trail. Enthusiasts can extend their journey by following this route and exploring other local environmental sites.
